It's happened to me a few times where I wanted to acknowledge a filter or selection typing by pressing ENTER, and I would get ENTER twice, and it now opens a few thousand files.
I would love a feature that warns me when I open more than X files by pressing ENTER. As an option with the number tweakable of course.
Extended functionality, I could see different numbers for different formats, or for the system to warn you the first time, and then you have an option to disable the warning from the information display telling you about the feature.
Just an idea.
