XP SP3, WMP 11, DOpus 9.5.0.0, Shark007's Vista codec package v5.49.
If I open the viewer pane on a WAV file I get the WMP control bars but the play button (or autoplay) doesn't work UNLESS I check 'open temporary copies' in the ActiveX config.
If I dissociate WAVs in WMP I just get a hex view, even though WAVs are in the ActiveX list as described in the FAQs - I've had this working before, but dunno how.
Double-clicking on a WAV opens the DOPus WAV player which works, and if I turn this off in Settings, WMP works on double-click.
Tweaking Internet Explorer 8 advanced settings doesn't seem to make a difference.
It may or may not be related, but before my last reinstall of XP and DOpus, ASF videos used to be really choppy and blocky in the viewer pane: now they're fine. This was probably a codec bloat issue, but it may be a clue:|
