Oh I doubt it'll be 1% - 1% of Windows 10 users are around 10 million users. That kind of inrush into Linux isn't really possible, and even if it did happen, it would probably impose changes that the Linux community didn't like
MS have backed off for now but this whole AI thing looks to the big players like free money, and they're all drooling to get a piece of the action. What will probably happen is that governments step in to protect the rights of individuals against AI aggregators stealing content, and the rights of workers against AI taking their jobs. But MS is just like a hungry shark that's been batted away - it'll be back.
