# What caused the change?

It sounds like something has configured Opus on your system to run as administrator, which is probably causing the other issues. Following the [How to turn off "Run as Administrator"](https://resource.dopus.com/t/why-not-to-run-opus-as-administrator-under-uac/9102/1) steps in the FAQ should hopefully fix it.
