What does Locking a Tab do?

I looked in the manual and the text on this page Locked Tabs [Directory Opus Manual] reads:
TOBEDONE

What is locked?
What (if any) changes can be made?
Why would one lock a tab?

Thank you.

They're documented at the bottom of Tabs [Directory Opus Manual]

(Looks like we intended to move that information to its own page, but didn't save the change or something. Will take a look next week.)

Another great feature in Opus. I'm locking tabs when i want to have them being present, no matter what i change otherwise, so there's no "clicking away" from them, which happens very easily with having all tabs unlocked. With the other types of locked tabs, getting back to the original tab is almost as convenient, i only have to push my go Initialdir hotkeys or change the tab back and forth once.

That info is now moved into the Locked Tabs [Directory Opus Manual] section, and the Tab Switcher is now documented as well.
