What happened to the command "Set Viewfilter"? Where is its functionality, now? TIA
I don't remember that ever being a command. Maybe I've just forgotten it.
Where are you getting that command from? I couldn't find any other mention of it on the forum, nor any mention in the manuals for Opus 12 or 13.
What functionality are you looking for?
It appears to have been existent in 2007-2010. I had it in a button to clear all filters which I got from a thread from you in this forum entry, Clearing keyboard filter? - #2 by kenalcock item 3.
I recently actually used the button and discovered that Set Viewfilter="" now appears to work like Set QUICKFILTER which opens the filter bar which I clearly don't want in a button to clear all filters.
I think all I need to clear all filters is "Set CLEARFILTERS". I would like confirmation on this functionality. Thanks.
A little history on the birth and death of Set Viewfilter, what it was supposed to do and what does that now, if anything, would satisfy my curiosity but probably has nothing to do with functionality!
VIEWFILTER was renamed to QUICKFILTER in 2010, but the old command should still work.
Ah, I was searching for Set Viewfolder from the post body, not Set Viewfilter from the title.
If I understand the past implementation, Set VIEWFILTER="", cleared/turned off the filter bar. This no longer works. Not that important, really.
