Win7 home folder and custom locations for special folders

Hello all,

On my Windows 7 system I have changed the location of some of the special folders that show up within my home folder ("C:\users\getz"). E.g., my Downloads directory is located in "E:\downloads". In Windows explorer, this directory still shows up in my home folder, just as intended (I gather this is because home is displayed as a virtual folder by explorer). When opening up my home folder in DOpus, however, the lister shows only the physical contents of the C:\users\getz directory structure (the tree view, of course, is identical to that of explorer). What would be the best way to see the merely "logical" sub-directories of home within the DOpus lister? I thought about creating soft-links, but I'm not sure how that would affect Explorer's display of the home directory, and also I wouldn't like to see overlay-arrows over all my folder in home.

I don't think you can, without creating links (which will add clutter to what you see in Explorer, as you say).

(You could use normal shortcuts, since Explorer won't show those in its tree view, but they'll still clutter up the file display within Explorer.)

The difference is because Opus's file display is showing the real folder contents of C:\Users<username> while Explorer is showing the shell's "view" of the virtual folder which is tied to C:\Users<username>.

(The tree in both Opus and Explorer shows the shell view of things.)
