Windows Media Player ( Two To Choose From )

Hi,

Cant seem to find any post or in the manual how to fix this issue up.

Screenshot attached.

when we go and choose WMP from the open with command we get two to choose from. We have never had this happen in the past what is causing this to happen.

Running 64Bit Vista OS Business and K-Lite Codecs Mega Pack

DOpus Ver 9.5.1.0 3624 x64

It's probably the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Media Player.

Do you see the same thing in Explorer's Open With menu?

Thnx for the super fast reply u do an amazing job on the forum.

No this does not happen in explorer only noticed this since the last update.

Thats what i thoiught it could be because of 32/64 bit OS strange.

Could you run my FileTypeDiag tool against whichever file extension you're right-clicking there?

Send the text file it produces here attached to a reply or private message and I'll take a look.

I just had another idea about what might cause two Open With entries to appear for the same app and the FileTypeDiag output should make it clear which one is happening.

Couldn't find where to edit post so sorry for the extra post in advance but here is the screen shot with bug fix.

Is it possible to have the order of the programs fixed as well. ( A- Z )

Running Vista 64Bit OS.

BTW in windows explorer works fine. Thank the boys @ OPUS for the minor fix.
