Before writing about the problem already Directory Opus 11.13 error after installation
The problem has not been solved.

Problems after release version Directory Opus 11.10
Double-click on the desktop does not work
Coincidence or not, but when he became Universal Installer 32/64 bit
I decided to re-install the operating system
Install a genuine Windows XP Professional SP3
1.Immediately after installing the operating system and drivers installed Directory Opus 11.16

2.In Task Manager, no dopusrt.exe,only dopus.exe

What is the problem?
Help me please !!!

P.S.
If you put Directory Opus 11.10, then everything works fine
have both dopus.exe and dopusrt.exe running in your Task Manager process list

If Directory Opus 11.10 upgrade to 11.16, it will all work
If you put the right Directory Opus 11.16, then Double-click on the desktop does not work

Please link your account for more help with this, and Windows XP in particular.

Leo I have a temporary certificate.
there probably can not be linked to your account.

I watched the video, you can see all works
Why do I not want to work.
11.10 works well
After 11.10 does not work one version.

You've been evaluating Opus for six and a half months now (14 April 2015). If you want in-depth support of a problem specific to your machine, especially for an operating system that Microsoft themselves no longer support, and where the development tools no longer support it either (making it time consuming for us to investigate), it's time to decide whether you want to buy the program or not. We can't spend time on this issue for non-paying customers.

PS: Did you try disabling your anti-virus as suggested in the earlier thread?

I have already written above that there is no anti-virus.
Installation is made to the new system

The problem is solved if you register library
1.Run unregister.cmd

RegSvr32.exe /u "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopushlp.dll" pause RegSvr32.exe /u "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopuslib.dll" pause
2.Then Run register.cmd

RegSvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopushlp.dll" pause RegSvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopuslib.dll" pause
After these steps, double-click on the desktop works

Perhaps you need to fix it.

If there is a real problem and a legitimate customer complaints about it we will.

And I become legal if the program does not work normally.
If all works well, you can buy.
And if the trial period, there is a problem, then why should I buy it.
It is necessary to correct the problem in the program.
Do not just listen to legitimate users.
The trial period for this and made that anyone can test the program.
I ask you to correct it.

Wow, you're using an outdated OS and on one side you don't want to buy DO because of a possible bug, but on the other you already use it for that long time! LOL.

You should uninstall DO!

The point is not which system.
Like Windows XP and many percent still use it.

The fact that the error is present, and bad when it does not recognize.
After installation is necessary to register the library - dopushlp.dll
You just have to watch the source installer.
Is this difficult to do?

XP isn't official supported anymore by most companies, if you still use it, it's your problem.

But you're right... of course this bug makes DO completely unusable on XP, LOL!

The truth: You just don't want to pay for DO, so please don't tell us you don't want to buy because of a small issue on a - again - dead OS! BTW GP offered you to fix it if you buy DO after 6+ month of trial!!! If you don't trust them, it's again your problem.

You should test another 6 months before buying DO, maybe you'll find another killer-bug and then you spent money for nothing!

Why is my problem?
11.10 works without problems
After this version, the problems started
This is a problem in the installer (unregistered library - dopushlp.dll)

Developers are much more active and interested in discussing any makeup and new features rather than bugs and optimize their programs.

...because you are not willing to buy DO because of this huge "MAKING-DO-COMPLETELY-USELESS-bug and on the other side GP doesn't support non-cutomers using a dead OS, so you won't get a fix!

And your last post really disqualified you completely - DO has got one of the best support I know and if you don't understand why a "permanent-trial-user-on-an-outdated-OS" gets no support, you really have missed something!

BTW the trial also will end sometime, independend if the bug will be fixed or not .

There isn't even a confirmed problem on XP. Only on one person's setup, which could have many causes. As shown in my video, the installer appears to work fine on our vanilla XP install.

Kina has solved their problem by re-registering a DLL (it's unknown why that was needed). Since the feature is no longer broken for them, and was only ever reported broken on one setup, and works on our own test machine, I am not sure what we are supposed to fix here that isn't already fixed. Nor am I sure what is legitimately putting Kina off buying the program now the feature is working for them again.

Kina, you're well beyond the 90 day max evaluation period, so either buy Opus and we'll support you, or stop using Opus and stop making demands of us when you aren't a customer. Especially demands for things which there's no evidence anyone else wants or needs. Up to you.
