I am a 50+ year vereran of IT. The last 20 years of so have been in Information Managment / Data Architecture which leads to Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
Before that I have coded in a dozen or so languages (all 'old school'), and the same number of DBMS.
Currently entering retirement and supporting local NFP organisations.
