Move data based on date

Hi,

I am hoping someone can assist me with moving data using DOpus 13.

I have loads of different shares on one NAS for example HR that has loads of subfolders and files. What would be the easiest way to move all the data before a specific folder to a new location on a different NAS also called HR creating the same folder structure as the original.

I'm trying to archive off old data to an archive folder while maintaining the same layout as the original if this makes sense.

Any assistance would be great. I have tried using flat folders and then a Find Files with the date but it wouldn't move to the new location correctly, ie create the same folder structure as the original.

You can use a copy filter to do that:

I would test the filter in Find Files first, to check it matches what you expect, and then do a second check on a test/backup folder to make sure it behaves how you expect when copying/moving. (It can definitely do what you need, but it's best to be careful with it too.)

I'll try it again. When I do the initial Find Files is it best to do it in Flat View or not.
