Hi, i'm very new in Directory Opus..... and I can't find a key to select scattered files or folders (like selecting with the mouse + Ctrl key). I know that i can select with shift+(up or down)
Ctrl + cursor keys and space is the standard way in Windows.
(Or use Power Mode which lets you configure various keyboard/mouse modes that differ from the Windows standards.)
You can also middle click files to do the same thing as ctrl + left-click (assuming the middle mouse button isn't remapped to something else in the mouse drivers).
Oh.... ok ok..... i tried and it worked!! (i never used keyboard to select in the windows explorer, but i tried it and it worked there too)..... and i tried the middle click of the mouse, but i like to use only keyboard.
Is there posible to configure only the key space to select a file or folder (without pressing the ctrl key)??
Yes, in Power Mode the space bar does that by default.
Mmm.... i activate "Display Power mode toolbar buttons" in Preferences, then in View i select Power..... but my arrow keys doesn't work.
Sorry but i'm very new if you explain me better, maybe i can achieve that
Preferences / File Display Modes / Power Mode / Always in keyboard mode
Always in keyboard mode: Power mode file displays are not in keyboard mode by default - the cursor keys scroll the list rather than moving the focus from one item to another. When this option is on, power mode file displays are always in keyboard mode - the cursor keys act like they do in a details mode file display.
