A Lot of Erratic Things are (no longer) Happening

Thank you for that good news.

I may have been confused by the details on the web site:

The single price says:

Perhaps this wording needs clarification.

Yes, I also never noticed this , but the Help file says:

[quote]The SOFTWARE may only be installed on the number of machines specified by the program license and associated certificate. Additionally, you may install the SOFTWARE on ONE personal laptop, irrespective of the number of installs allowed by your license. For example, this means that if you have purchased a two install license you may install the SOFTWARE on two computers of ANY type PLUS ONE personal laptop.

Yes good point - this has been updated now. Thanks!

Thank you.

Like others, I rarely read the help file "from cover to cover".

When I wanted to check the status, I looked in the GPSoftware directory for a "licence.txt" file, or something similar. Nothing.

Is is usual to put licence details in the Help File? I use Help files only when I need them for help with using the software.

Yes; I agree, that is an odd place to put license details.

Help files are after-the-fact and of absolutely no use BEFORE the installation. License details should be clearly spelled out BEFORE the install.

Doc

That's why they are 'clearly spelled out' in the installer...

This thread is officially a waste of time and a blight on the search results. I'm locking it, feel free to start new, single topic threads...
