Preferences > File Displays > File Display Options > Reset focus entry when sorting file list
Is Focus mean Selected ?
I need to see selected files when I sort file display but when nothing is selected (when navigating to a new folder, no file is selected), I don't want that sorting causes the file display to scroll.
Selections are never changed by sorting, regardless of that option.
The focus item is the one with keyboard focus. It's not necessarily the same as the selected item(s).
I understand why I am confused.
If I navigate through file display, focus is given to the first file.
But I use tree to navigate and when I clic on folder in tree, focus stay in tree.
So when I sort file display, I didn't understand why the file list scrolled.
