I got Directory Opus Lite some years ago in Humble Bundle sale. Was using a bit and then didn't as the Freecommander has more features I need.
I got the upgrade of Directory Opus today. Still trying to figure out the settings.
IN the meantime I am looking for the following:
Is it possible to add applications (exe,bat etc) in the "Favorites"?
How can I enable grid in the display?

Adding files to favorites:
Favorites in Opus can point to files; the UI is just geared around adding folders since that's what favorites are designed for.
Make a button or hotkey which runs this command:
Favorites ADD=nameonly PATH {filepath$}

Grid in file display:
If you want it on all the time, turn on the Grid Lines options under Preferences / File Display Modes / Details . (Or Power Mode, if you're using that.)

I will explore the rest. Seem like lot of tinkering can be done.
