Is there a way to add Secure Wipe (Secure Delete) to the Right-Click context menu in Directory Opus 12? I see how to edit the context menu in general, but can't find a way to add Secure Wipe. Thanks.
The command is Delete SECURE (assuming you want the number of passes specified in Preferences). Add that to the menu as an Opus command and it should work.
(Since there's an item for this on the default toolbars, within the menu on the right of the Delete button, you can also find the command by editing the toolbar and looking at what that item runs. Pretty much all of those commands will also work in context menus if you want to access them that way.)
(Remember that secure wipe is typically only useful on HDDs and may just add wear to SSDs without doing much useful.)
