Adding File Notes? like PowerDesk Pro 8?

PowerDesk Pro 8 has the following feature:

Add File Notes - With a right-click of the mouse, add notes to help organize your files - displayed in a mouse-over window or details view, easily be reminded what's in a file without having to open it!

This is the most important feature for me. Does Opus allow me to do this in a simple manner? I especially like the mouse-over windows view. I have a lot of files to annotate in this way and I don't want it to be a hassle and I would strongly prefer to have the file notes pop up in a mouse-over window. Thanks!

Ummmm.... all good things come to those that wait? Can I say that?

You can use File -> File Commands -> Set Description to add descriptions to files. (If you use it a lot you might want to move it to a more convenient place on your toolbars and/or create a hotkey for it.)

If you then to go Settings -> File Types -> All Files -> Info Tip and add {desc} to the codes, the description will then be included when you hover over files.

(You may also need to edit the Info Tips for other file/folder types if they override the All Files main one.)
