Address bar cannot find `Downloads` directory on D drive

Windows 10 1809
Directory Opus 12.14
When Downloads directory was on the default home directory, it opened up fine when specifying Downloads, but I moved it to a separate partition D:\ and made Windows point to it by changing settings on Downloads property, Location.

The error message I get is:
An Error occurred reading folder:
The system cannot find the path specified. (3)

In the background, the lister is showing "Reading folder..." while the address bar is temporarily showing "C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\Downloads"

Creating a shortcut from
"C:\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\Downloads"
to
"D:\Downloads"
didn't fix the problem for me.

Try /downloads

Thanks Leo! Yes that works!
I was still wondering if I can also get to downloads without the initial slash.
I am sort of curious how directory opus picks up or update its shortcuts.

What happens in File Explorer?

Please link your account as well.

It works fine on Explorer.
Linked the account. I am evaluating Opus 12, but the behavior was the same for Opus 11

We don't support this in Opus. If you enter an unqualified, non-alias name, Opus will search the Desktop for a folder with that name but that's all. We don't search anywhere else. Using the alias /downloads is the best way.

Then how does it find Documents and Desktop?
They work fine even though I changed their original locations.

It depends on where they are in the shell namespace. The actual physical folder location doesn't matter.
