Advanced Search to collection

I've been using Dopus for years way back to the Amiga days, and it feels good
But, it's clearly that I've become more relaxed and truly not using advanced features like I used to. So now that I decided to get going, I got stuck instead.
My idea was to make several collections containing cd images, video files, images etc.
I then tried to make a search term to find all CD images (I know I can use a filetype here, but they never seem to have all the file-extensions right) on my system( I got several HD's), and I encountered problems I has not been able to solve. Some cd images i purely a iso file, and is easy to identify, but others are crosing over to file extensions used by other systems and even have a "sidecar" file like bin/cue.
First I went on to wikipedia and found a list over all CD filetypes and used that: *.(iso|img|c2d|ccd|sub|cdi|bin|cue|cso|daa|dvd|ibp|ibq|isz|mds|mdf|nrg|toc|vc4|000|bt5|bt6|bwa|bwi|bws|bwt)
Then I discovered that there are files here like bin, that isn't cd files when they're small <30Mb. Others, like the sidecar cue, will alwas be a small file when its a "cd image file". Here my problems starts to show... I cannot make a searchpattern to diskcover the right files, I even got a couple of folders in my results. I've been scanning and searching this site some houors now to se if I found any good discritions on how to do this but...

Can anyone help?

Trond

Thank you very much, both for your fast reply and finished find query.

Was thinking, could it be a way to share such and other advanced search queries to help others to learn and inspire in making new ones?
