Would be great if Aliases could be listed in the "my computer" list... Much like on the Amiga

I think the best you can get in Dopus at the moment is Favorites...
I think the kind of thing you're looking for is what I'm trying to make time to work on - I've started (and stopped and restarted ) work on a shell namespace extension so you can create "Your Documents", "Your Music" etc etc folders in the folder tree at the same relative high level as Microsofts idea of My Documents. I prefer them 'above' My Computer, but I guess it would be just as easy to put them under. I'll see...
