All of a sudden, everything goes pink and blue

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem that is similar to what's described here: Colours problem - #3 by Xyzzy

The difference is that I get no error messages, but all of a sudden, all file and directory names go pink, while the background go blue:

This is becoming annoying because it happens after a while everytime I reinstall DO (which I have to do to solve the problem).

The other difference with the topic I mentioned is that I own a legit, bought copy of DO.

What's wrong?

EDIT: I just noticed that the problem occurs in dark mode only.

EDIT 2: I just got an error message saying that an integrity control failed, that a virus or a third party file corrupted DO, implying that I own a cracked copy...

It happened once to me with USB exported installation while working on Windows 7 x64.
I did not know what went wrong and I just replaced USB export with fresh one.

Do a config backup (Settings > Backup & Restore).

Uninstall Opus, reboot, and make sure the GPSoftware directory under Program Files is now empty/gone.

Download the installer from our website (not from anywhere else), run that, and restore the config backup made in the first step.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it does not work. Did the backup, uninstalled properly (checking that the GPSoftware directory was deleted) and reinstalled from the installer on your website. It looks fine on first launch, but restoring the saved config brings back the pink/blue scheme. Only difference is that so far I didn't get the error message claiming that DO is virus corrupted.

Try going to Preferences / Colors and Fonts / Themes and double-click one of the default themes to reset your colors.

Didn't think about that. Thanks, it worked.

Now I have an idea why it happened to me while working on that installation of Windows 7.
