getting a bit fed up with this seeing as i do lots of image editing. how to i stop it please
What are you doing that triggers that error?
double clicking an image in a folder. thats all
Any particular folder or does it happen anywhere?
What do you have set for FileTypes -> FileType Groups -> Images -> Events -> Double-click?
there's no ryme or reason to it. its 50/50 some folders do it, some dont.
current folder A:\Model Info\Model Collection\Rail\[GPM 363] - Schnabel wagon
current error:
Please double-click the Images file-type group and then the double-click event within it, and show us what it's running.
Also, can you show us how Preferences / Viewer / Standalone Viewer / Marked Pictures is configured as well?
Thank you! Those look OK.
(By the way, you can drag images to posts without having to use an external image host.)

What about the special Recognized Images type, in the top part of the file types list? Does that have a double-click event?
-
It may also be worth checking the filetype for the type of image you're double-clicking, too (e.g. PNG or JPEG) in case those are overriding the command.

If you go to coll:// in Opus, are there any collections there that aren't needed? If so, select the collections and delete them.
(Deleting the collections themselves won't delete any files. Just make sure you do not go inside any of the collections and select any of the files/folders that they point to, as deleting from there would delete the files/folders.)
Thanks Leo for your help, seems all i needed to do was untick the check for marked pictures when viewer is open
