Long story short, I have a number of folders that I usually "live in", that are in reality symbolic links to other folders. When I try to search such folders using Windows' built-in desktop search functionality (via the Search box in DO), I get no results, since Windows Search intentionally ignores folders that are symbolic links or junctions. I wonder if it would be possible (perhaps as an option) for DO to override this behavior behind the scenes. What it would do is check whether the folder within which I am searching is a symbolic link or junction (or a subfolder of a link or junction), and if that is the case ask Windows Search to search within the actual folder that the link or junction are pointing to, and then show me the results in the folder I'm in. Is that something that could be done?
