Animated Video Thumbnails

Hi Forum,

I used to have animated video thumbnails but deactivated them a long time ago in Preferences -> Lister -> Thumbnails.

It seems however that for some reason now I can't re-activate the animated thumbnails -- although the respective options in the movie plugin as well as above prefs are set accordingly.

Although Dopus seems to be busy to extract the movies contents in the current directory I only get static thumbnails with filmstrips at the sides, but no moving preview inside the thumbnails.

Thanks for any idea what could be done to fix the animated movie thumbs,

No idea, anyone -- what to do to get back animated thumbnails?

Turn off thumbnails in the Movie plugin (Preferences -> Plugins -> Viewers -> Movie -> Configure)

Hi Jonathan, and thanks for the reply.

I have tried your advice, however, if I turn thumbnail generation off in the movie plugin (and leave 'generate animated avi' ticked in the Lister -> Thumbnails preferences), I don't get any movie thumbnails anymore, let alone animated thumbnails:

I thought it was the movie plugin that is responsible for the creation of the animated thumbnails...?
