How to remove these (hint?) pop-up windows, even one is very annoying, and sometimes there are 2 of them.
And at the same time, tell me how to disable this hint for local disks, it seems like it wasn’t there before, it really gets in the way.
The one repesenting free/used space can be deactivated by default using Settings/Preferences/Toolbars/Options then under Display popup help text (tooltips) tick Only with key held down and choose a modifier key.
That will apply to all toolbars tooltips, not only the one with GO DRIVEBUTTONS like in your video.
As for the second one (white windows flashing), I'd say it's probably triggered by a third party software, as I've never seen that.
Regarding the second one, it seems you are right, at least I didn't think to disable all the other software for testing, thanks for the idea, you are probably right
I know about this, thank you, but the panel with disks I set before this and this hint was not there a week ago, with modifiers I am not at all comfortable, I just hovered the mouse on disk icon and saw free space without this big menu
In Settings/Preferences/Toolbars/Options, I uncheck Display popup help text (tooltips). It might get rid of more than you want.
Another vote here for the option to only remove the recently added huge, pie/chart graphics. You never know where the mouse will land, and they can indeed be annoying after a while.

I actually find it useful. Maybe we could have an option under Miscellaneous
