I seem to have acquired a pair of anonymous toolbars which I cannot get rid of (arrowed in sceenshot).
I like a minimalist layout and so have 4 toolbars all on one line...but suddenly this pair have appeared. How can I rid myself of these troublesome toolbars?
Incidentally, I do find the toolbars have a bit of a mind of their own sometimes and a configuration have made is altered a little on re-firing Dopus.
Right-click them and choose Close, to close them in the current window.
Use Settings / Toolbars / Set As Default Toolbar Set to make the current window's toolbars the new default.
If you have any custom toolbar sets as part of custom layouts, styles, etc., then they may also need to be updated.
Also set everything under Preferences / File Display Modes / Toolbars to None unless you want e.g. the Images toolbar to appear when in Thumbnails mode.
I had the same problem happen to me as well. Phantom, empty toolbars would show up and in random order.
It seems to happen when you rename the toolbar .dop file instead of using dopus to rename the toolbar.
Pretty easy to replicate. go to /dopusdata\Buttons and rename any .dop file to something else (ex. "My Menu.dop" to "My Menu 2.dop"). Close and reopen dopus. Phantom toolbar shows up along with your original toolbar.
You cannot go into dopus and rename that toolbar so it matches what you changed the .dop file to, it doesn't seem to help. You need to rename the .dop file back to match what dopus has listed as the name for that toolbar.
This I believe all started when we got toolbar sets in v11. I tried editing /dopusdata\Toolbar Sets\ .ots file so it would match the new .dop name, but that didn't help.
