Hello
For the last couple of days DOpus 13.3 is crashing on a recurrent basis during diversified actions such as media viewing/copying/editing, renaming files in batch, creating new directories, etc - I cannot see a common denominator that could be identified as a trigger. The app was running smoothly before.
The crashes can be partial (just a dialog box) or total (whole application). If it is the whole application, the app reinitiates by itself, but does not generate a crash report.
In Event Viewer I have identified all crashes are related to the same dll file (ntdll.dll) and all show the same Exceprion code (0xc0000374) - screenshot attached
Windows generates a Windows Error Report for each crash (screenshot attached). I have opened the latest one and saved in in txt file as this forum does not recognize .wer files for uploading. Pleasee see the txt file attached
Actions taken to remediate so far:
- Rebooting machine;
- Reinstallation of Dopus 13.3
- Sfc /scannow (no integrity violations)
- dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth (No component store corruption detected)
- dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (The restore operation completed successfully)
- Full Malwarebytes scan (nothing found)
- Full McAfee antivirus scan (nothing found)
I am currently running chkdsk, but it's going to take a few hours. So I thought the above was enough to raise a new topic (I have also searched for similar topics but found none like this one)
I have done some digging and found out that the majority of examples involving the combo ntdll.dll +0xc0000374 is related to apps under development using C language. I haven't found any example of this issue happening with a robust app like Dopus that has been in the market fore years.
I also attach my machine specs.
Thanks in advance for your help, this is driving me crazy
