ARM: Windows rendered with light and dark parts

When opening a properties window or the Directory Opus preferences window while Windows 11 is set to dark mode... parts of the window are rendered in dark mode, while other parts are still in light mode.

Known issue on ARM systems. We may release a native ARM build in the future, but at the moment dark mode doesn't work that well when running on ARM.

Any idea when a native ARM version might be possible?

It's still impossible to buy a dev kit for the new ARM CPUs from Qualcomm, which makes giving an ETA hard.

Not sure what IDE/framework is used in Directory Opus, but Microsoft has this documentation for Visual Studio...

That doesn't give us the hardware we need to test that an ARM build works, which we have to do before we can release one.

Once current projects (mainly the new SFTP code) are done, we may end up buying ARM laptops for this if Qualcomm still haven't got their acts together, but we'd prefer the dev kits that they said would be available.

Hello Leo

A relatively cheap option would be the Apcsilmic Dot 1 Mini PC.

It is at least a silent fanless machine.

Major deficit is poor connectivity, that's why unusable for me.
Find better options in traditional Mini PC range.

But in case of need for testing purpose it may do.

Please give the 13.15.1 beta a try as we have made some improvements for support under ARM64 emulation on Windows 11.
