Could you guys create a button that's an audio miniplayer.
The internal Dopus sample player but convert it as a miniplayer button. With a little waveform preview behind the play head (With prev and next buttons too).
Anytime the "Play" command is used it would use the miniplayer, if it has been added.
Right click it to do things like open the file's containing folder, set metadata, visual presets etc.
We could configure how it works in the settings. It could be a collapsed button and we hover or click to expand it to the miniplayer. We could choose if it respects the windows media transport controls or not, or custom hotkeys. It could be set up to be global, as Dopus always running in the background, could be as a WinAmp miniplayer.
I would put it on my top toolbar, like so:
