Auto size with FTP

I have the option of automatically resizing the "Name" column in the lister set to on (so files with long names automatically "extend" the column etc) and it works perfectly. Even if I insert a new USB drive or something similar DOpus sees for the first time, it will apply this setting (as I'd expect).

... unless I'm trying to list files from my server through FTP - the lister ignores this setting, so names of the files end up with "...". Double clicking on the right end of the "Name" (on top of the column) extends the column correctly.

Is there a way for me to set the Name column to automatically extend / shrink based on the names of the files even when on FTP?

Are you sure auto-size is actually on? There is a separate folder format for FTP sites.

Whoops! Turns out I somehow managed to untick the "Auto-size columns" in the FTP folder format - thanks for reminding me to check it.

The problem was that while I had DO9 all the files on my FTP sites had short names, but when I upgraded to DOpus 10 it somehow happened that I started receiving files with longer names so I only noticed it now (I was convinced it was set to Auto-size the column).
