Opus 9 will have an option to do this, as can be seen in my What's New in Opus 9 preview and the screenshot below.

Is it possible to implement a raw command "GO CURRENT=collapse" in addition to "Go ROOT=collapse"?

Like JohnZeman I assigned the last-mentioned command to "NUM -", but I'd rather like to collapse the actual folder instead of the whole drive branch. On the other hand, I prefer doing this manually instead of having DOpus doing it automatically.

I've filed a feature request for you. No way to do CURRENT=collapse right now, it only works with ROOT.
