Autorun media CD

I note a previous question in the forum about this issue, but was unable to find a resolution. I have a multimedia teaching CD, which contains an exe file, images and PowerPoints. Directory Opus does not allow it to function as intended, and listed all files separately.
Is it possible to exclude the CD/DVD drive from the listing process?
Many thanks in anticipation of your advice

I don't think Opus controls autorun or autoplay behaviour. If inserting a CD causes an Opus window to launch then it's because something else decided to open the CD as a folder instead of some other action.

(That something else could be the Windows autorun/autoplay settings, which can be configured to ignore autorun and open a folder when certain types of discs are inserted. It could also be a CD whose autorun settings say it should be opened as a folder. It's not Opus making the decision.)

If you disable Explorer Replacement in Opus and insert the same CD then you should see an Explorer window appear and thus confirm that Opus isn't involved with the choice of how to open/launch the CD.

Thank you Leo-I appreciate your rapid reply. You certainly are correct- there is some problem with the CD running autohtml.exe, irrespective of the Directory OPus settings. I have used these CDs on a machine upgraded from Windows XP to Vista Ultimate without problems, but for some obscure reason they will not open properly on a new Vista Ultimate machine. I can access the files nonetheless, it's just a more tedious operation.
Other autorun CDs operate perfectly well with Directory Opus replacing Windows Explorer.
