Autosize only one specific column

I'm not sure if this option was requested before (or already exists, but then I can't find it):

I would like to set columns like type, date, etc. fixed and only name to be autosized in width. This would be very useful if you always want to use the full width of a lister and especially when working with USB on different resolutions.

Edit: The autosized column of course should not use max. filename-size, it should use max. lister-width.

It's not possible at the moment, but something we've been thinking of lately after some similar requests.
