Avast antivirus disappeared from context-menu of DOpus, but not of Windows Explorer. So I cannot scan directly downloaded and other files. I am using DOpus 12.33, Windows 10, Avast free 23.9.6082.
Can you help me, please?
It's not something we changed, so it's likely something Avast changed, unless you're changed your config. (The option to "hide windows items on context menus" would hide them, for example.)
A couple of Antivirus tools intentionally hide their menus from everything other than File Explorer. (They won't even appear in File Open dialogs in other apps, e.g. Notepad.) No idea why, but it's their choice and we can't force their menus to appear if they're programmed not to.
If they have a command line interface to their scanner, you can always make a context menu item or button which sends files to it via that, as a workaround. Most good antivirus tools have that (but not all are good :)).
