.. is there a way how to change whole background color of folder tree and local disk backgrounds (left and right panel) from a default white to different one?

If you just want a solid colour, Settings -> Preferences -> Display -> Colors and Fonts
You can also have images as the background(s); see the FAQ on background images if that's what you want.
.. yes, that's more or less what I'm looking for, but not all fileds are colored, just file names column .. but how to fill with solid color for whole folder tree area?
