Backup Windows Fonts

Is there a way to back up your Windows fonts? I want to be able to restore them easily after restoring my computer's image. Thanks

I haven't messed with Windows fonts in 20+ years, but I'd say, a copy of /fonts should be enough.

Yup. Windows' fonts folder is one of the easiest bits of Windows to deal with, just copy files in or out of C:\windows\fonts

I think fonts still need to be registered when copied back, but it tends to happen automatically these days when copying into the fonts folder, as long as you use File Explorer to do the copy. (Or Opus, if it’s showing the virtual folder version of the fonts directory.)

Opus also has a command for installing fonts which will copy and register them.
