Hi,
It appears that zipping up 1 or more files in a collection with Save Full File Paths enabled does not work. The zip is created but the files inside have do not have any path.
I am using 10.0.0.0
Thanks,
Cdouble

Works fine here. Try using the newest beta 10.0.1.2.
Okay, will do.
Just tried 10.0.1.0 and that didn't work either...
Thanks,

Nope. Doesn't work with 10.0.1.2.
Are you using a file out of file collection? Not a file from the normal lister.
Thanks,

Yes. Did you check if the files in the collection are still there?
Yes, if the files aren't there then the archive command will fail.
Try this:
Make sure the file locations that you are zipping up in the collection are DIFFERENT. So different directories for file1 and file2. Then save the zip file to somewhere other than the default.
Looks like a bug to me.

The problem is if you use files from different locations. Then I get an error immediately and an empty (size of 22 byte) archive. I would report this to GPSoft
The option Save Full File Paths doesn't work in collections and it also doesn't work in Flatview and Libraries.
I think it's worth to send a feature request to GPSoftware if you want to have it:
It's a bug - not a feature. Winzip Pro works fine with all of those and it's what we're using in lieu of this being fixed.
I did submit the bug on their website. It should not be a difficult fix but that's my opinion.
Thanks,
CD
This is fixed in the newest Beta 10.0.1.4:
Changes in 10.0.1.4:
Bug fixes:
* The ZIP "Save full file paths" option is now respected when adding files from a collection to a zip file.
Although it's not explicitly mentioned in the release notes it's also fixed for Flatview and Libraries.
Thanks for the update...will give it a try...
