Burning files to DVD in Opus - Not Working

I insert a blank DVD, and format it to use like a USB using the Windows wizard.

In Opus I select my DVD drive. The message "drag files to this folder to burn to dvd" is displayed. When I drag files there, they look like they are copying (but very fast), but nothing appears. If I try again and drag over the same file - it says it already exists. But it does not appear there or in Explorer.

When I drag them to the DVD drive in Explorer, they copy over fine and appear in Opus as well.

This is happening on 2 computers with Opus.

Preferences - "Support Windows XP/Vista burning system" + "Use system display for writeable CDs" are both checked.

Does Opus support this? Have I missed something?

Opus 9 doesn't know about the packet writing option that Vista introduced - it assumes you're burning a mastered disc and so copies the files to the staging area.
If you're using packet writing you should turn the "Support Windows XP/Vista burning system" option off, Opus will then treat the disk like any other writeable folder.

Opus 10 will fix this properly but the changes needed are too complex to port back into Opus 9, unfortunately.

Okay cool, thanks jon. I'll stick with Explorer until 10 is ready.
