Button to create new buttons with one click?

I often create new buttons to test code etc.. But I always have to:

Right click the toolbar > customize > right click the toolbar again > new > new button > double click the new button > Function: > enter the code

It would be great to have a button on the toolbar that enters customize mode > adds a button > launches the command editor with one click.
Or is something like this already possible?

My solution is to have a "testing" toolbar that I can toggle on/off with a hotkey and on there are a bunch of test buttons that I can edit by alt-clicking them.

I use my mouse for almost everything, so I never new about ALT-clicking the toolbar buttons ... This is exactly what I was looking for! :smiley:
