I’ve noticed a delay when using the FAYT to search within my Favorites list. Since my setup includes a mix of items from my main SSD and an external mechanical HDD, the UI tends to hang whenever the external drive is sleeping (I can actually hear it spin up the moment I trigger the search).
I suspect this happens because it might be trying to resolve the paths in real-time. I was wondering if it would be feasible to cache the Favorites list & their icons? That way it could just search the known text instantly without needing to wake up the drive.
I have a video showing the delay and I’m happy to upload process dumps or logs if that helps. Thanks!
