Can double-clicking the desktop to start Dopus add a valid process?

Recently, I have used several desktop software to help me organize the files on my desktop, which can be sorted by date of modification and also by file type, and I personally feel that it is quite useful!
It also has the ability to double-click on the desktop to hide the desktop icon, personal feelings and double-click on the desktop to launch Dopus conflict, so it disables the double-click on the desktop to hide the desktop icon, and now double-click on the desktop can not launch Dopus, unless I quit the desktop software, and after testing and troubleshooting, I found that the desktop software took over the desktop process, and now my desktop process becomeswpsdesktop.exe, the class name becomesWpsDesktopWindow

Can you add a desktop process to the "double click desktop to open Dopus" option
In this way, I add the desktop process to the options without affecting the startup of Dopus by double-clicking the desktop.

Can you tell us the name of the software so we can look at it and test with it?

fences5
There are a number of other similar desktop programs that replace desktop processes
PS:The two software I just provided are similar to the desktop software demonstrated above.

Fences is great! I've been using it for years. An older light version 3. I've noticed free knockoffs appear on Steam recently as well.

The visual sorting is nice by project\type\and auto dropping rules. I also keep my desktop icons hidden most of the time. To use that feature they require double clicking the desktop as their shortcut.

It's be nice if they let us hide the icons with a hotkey but its not an option on their end. The newer version 5 has a key bring ur icons to the top for fast access thou they still steal double clicking on the desktop to use that feature at all. It's either on or off.

As I've dedicated F1 to launch dopus I hadn't thought much of missing the double click on the desktop in a while, usually I'd have to get to the desktop first.

... Maybe... Double click an on an empty area of the task bar option??

I might have to figure out how to add that to my .ahk script now. Hmmm

I also use fence5. Double-clicking the desktop to hide icons is very practical, but I prefer to double-click the desktop to activate Dopus
make it an option: double-click to activate Dopus in the desktop process (custom process)
@Leo Is it possible to achieve the above mentioned

This is a great idea, I also often use third-party desktop tools they seem to replace the default system desktop process with their own, if you can add an option such as adding a straw, put the straw on the desktop, dopus can automatically identify the desktop process, thus blocking the third-party desktop software double-click desktop hidden desktop icon function, so that you can trigger double-click desktop activation dopus function Best to make it optional, so you can turn it on and off as you want.
@Leo Such a good proposal wants to be seen by developers
