Can Viewer Pane be set to ignore some file types?

Hi,

I like having the Viewer Pane open most of the time but there are times when I would like it to not show certain file types. For example .exe and .jpa. If I click on those it will attempt to show them. The .jpa files are huge so if it attempts to show the file contents then DOpus hangs.

Is there a blacklist I can set to tell the View Pane to NOT show the file?

If you go to Preferences / Viewer / Viewer Plugins and configure the Text plugin, then turn off its Hex Viewer option, that should prevent anything from viewing .exe and .jpa files (unless a 3rd party viewer is installed and set to handle either format; if one is it can be disabled by configuring the ActiveX plugin).
