Ok, maybe this might sound a bit strange, I dont know! lol
I kind of have two question rolled into one here :
-
Is there a command that will let me display my own custom dialog box, such as "Hello World" "OK" ?, ive tried looking in the "Show" command and the arguments "Dialogs" but I cant seem to find what im looking for.
-
Can I query the current "Content Type" in the source / dest folder
Thiese might seem odd questions, but my reason is this : I would like to (for testing purposes) be able to click on a button and it will say "The current view mode is 'images'" or whatever. or even better, just a label somewhere that just displays it. Would be nice if the menu which allows you to select a view mode for the current folder (Images, Music etc...) had a bullet mark next to the current view mode.
The reason im asking this is because im having real problems trying to get my head around these view modes. I have "Enable folder content Type detection for : local drives only" checked, and have set up each view type as I want, eg. so images display as thumbnails, folders that contain music display the track length/bit rate etc... im aware there is a threshold as to the determination of the contents of a folder, and have taken that into consideration, however, it just seems hit and miss if it works, sometimes it seems to, sometimes it doesnt, and its starting to make me loose my mind a bit!
I havent done a lot of investigation into this 'problem' yet, but I know that sometimes I can go to "My Pictures" and I get lovely thumbnails, then when I go back there another time, its just showing me a normal folder view.
Thanks
