I can´t copy or delete (acess denied) a simple mp3, size of ca. 8 MB from a FTP subfolder.
Rights are -r--r--r--
There are no special characters included, so i can´t figure out, why this isn´t possible. There are other silimiar files in that folder, & no problems with them.
Don't know why you can't copy, but you wouldn't be expected to be able to delete if all rights are "r", would you? Doesn't that mean read-only?
Yes, that´s read only. I can´t do anything with that file. That´s very strange.
Maybe it can be removed from the computer, where it has been uploaded from?
Right-click the file and open its properties.
You might be able to give yourself write access to it in order to delete it, though it will depend on what access your account has and if the FTP server allows you to change file access.
If you don't have access to delete it via FTP then you'd have to delete the file some other way (e.g. on the machine it's on directly).
No, i also can´t change the permissions, "no such file or directory". I can´t delete it on the machine, because it´s only some FTP space from a big DSL provider. I have a different copy of that file in the mail directory, but it´s still the same.
