I'm trying to connect my Android phone to Directory Opus via FTP, but the Android app expects to connect to an FTP Host. Is there anyway to setup Directory Opus as an FTP host (rather than the other way around)?
Pete
No, Opus is an FTP client not a server.
There are several FTP servers for both Android and Windows. e.g. You can install an FTP server on Android and connect to it from Opus.
Some time ago I used FTP Shell Server on Windows, as it's very easy to install and configure. Anyway, it does it's job if you just need simple FTP server to transfer files.
Thanks. That makes it clear (ie, Dopus is an FTP client) which means I'll need to find an Android app that functions as a FTP server. I found one called File Expert, but I just want to see what else is available before upgrading it to Pro.

I use FileExpert on my Android phone and there is no real need to upgrade to Pro if you are only using it to FTP files between your computer and phone.
Stu.
I find that FTP Server plays nicely with DOpus on my Asus Nexus 7.
