CBR thumbnails in 10.0.5.0

Thumbnails for CBR files are not showing up for me in 10.0.5.0.

Try with this one, in case it's something to do with the files: Test.cbz

If it still doesn't work, check the relevant formats are enabled in Preferences (as shown in the video where I talk about them).

That works fine. I'm guessing mine don't work as the comics themselves are in folders, within the CBR and CBZ files.

PM me one of the files and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the file!

That one works okay for me. The images are in a sub-dir of the archive, but that doesn't matter as the plugin will look below the first directory if there aren't any files in the archive root.

If you double-click the .cbr file, does it open up okay in the Opus lister?

Yeah, it opens up fine.

Ah, is Preferences / File Display Modes / Thumbnails / Display thumbnails for folders turned off? If so, turn it on.

No dice, was already on.

Ah, looking at your screenshot, the files are in a library. The thumbnails don't work in libraries here, either.

We'll get that fixed. Thanks for finding it!

No worries. I was actually going to place them in a non-library folder to check that; good to know I was on the right track

Great great great! Nice to have this ability built right into Opus. I especially like the fact that the aspect ratio is preserved, and that I can now see comic book thumbnails in tooltips. Thanks Leo

A few of my files aren't displaying thumbnails. It seems that if the archive contains nested folders, Opus won't display the thumbnail. And sometimes, if the first file in the archive is not an image, Opus won't display the thumbnail. Can't find a pattern here though...

And I have a few files that are simply archives filled with images, and no thumbnail is displayed. Curious!

It will only look in the root or the first folder.

How come those a archives have other layouts or extra files in them?

Because that's how I received them. Some have metadata files or SFV files.

If you send me some examples via a private message, I'll take a look.

(Not sure why someone would put a .SFV file inside an archive format that has its own checksums. Can probably make the plugin skip them, though.)

Noticed that this is fixed in the latest beta - thanks guys
