Change info window position when using menu key in fullscreen image mode

At the moment, the info window appears on the upper left side of the monitor, when using the menu key. Having a large 32" monitor, this is not the optimal position to look at. I would suggest to place it at the right bottom side, or near the mouse cursor position.

Info window? Menu key?

Do you mean the context menu when activated via the keyboard?

Yes. I also only knew the name 'context menu key', and a web search suggested 'menu key'. That's the one between the right Win-key and the Ctrl-key.

When having the image viewer in full screen mode, pushing that key brings up the context menu (not the metadata info, sorry), up in the left corner.

Context menus opened via the keyboard open in the top-left of their window by convention. (Or on the item with focus, but that doesn't apply here.)

If it opened where the mouse was, the mouse may not even be on the same screen as the viewer, since you aren't using the mouse, you're using the keyboard.

Oh, ok. I guess that convention stems from a time where monitors still were rather tiny. It was just an idea, and i also can use the mouse. Thanks.
