Tried finding if this was an option but couldn't. Background on the lister that gets unfocused (split-view) turns red, I wanted to try a different color.
Preferences / Colors and Fonts / Directory Opus Colors / File display background.
Destination background color, under there.

Wow, I did look there but the color on the settings seems way darker than it shows in the lister so I overlooked it. Thanks!
An optical illusion due to the size of the background vs the size of the color picker, I think.
