Changing left thumb button from "back" to "up"

Hi guys,

Is there a simple way to use the thumb button to go up the hierarchy tree rather than go back to visted folders, as it stalls at the first folder visited.

Which mouse drivers are you using?

Do you know what they're configured to do when the button is pushed? Some drivers (or configurations) do different things and that changes what you need to do.

For Logitech mices SetPoint-Driver is necessary. If not installed, do so and assign the "Back"-key (default for "Go up" in DO) for desired button.
