Choose UTF-8 or not,DO does not support Chinese character

WHY?
when I use filezilla,I get what I want.

BTW,I use DO 9.1.0.6.3044.x86.It does not show the Chinese character,just show numbers and English character.

Which type of connection are you talking about? SSH? FTP?

Which server software is at the other end?

What's shown in the FTP log? (Tools -> Output Window -> FTP #1)

This shows that the server doesn't support UTF-8 - if it did, it would report UTF8 in response to the FEAT command.

But,if I use filezilla,I can see all Chinese characters ,why?
